We had a wonderful weekend Labor Day!!! The weather was good for us to do some outside chores, fishing, relaxing, eating (Bill smoked Butt on his new smoker, which was cooked to perfection). Charlotte caught biggest fish, I will put in fishing report.
Charlotte and I shampooed the carpet downstairs, what a job that was. Be sure and take your shoes off before you come in house, that would be really helpful.
We trimed some limbs across the dam, Bill drove the Pick Up,
Charlotte stood in back of truck and used the gas powered extension chain saw, I picked up the limbs and piled them in stacks. Bill cut a few limbs also, after seeing that Charlotte was feeling so tough using power tools. We got a lot done, now you can drive without getting your truck scratched. If anybody has a gas powered extension chain saw, lets get together for a Tree Trimming day, we could do wonders with a group.
Also, Dawn, Matt, Sissy and even Bill did some dusting and extra cleaning. The house looks really fresh and clean.
NOTE; Mineola could use a good condition Propane Gas grill, birdseed, liquid washing detergent, cleaning products, paper towels, and toliet paper, paper plates and plastic cups. Thank you!!!!
